By 16:30 I needed a break for a snack. Conveniently enough, we were at a shop with an attached cafe. Lunch #2 consisted of a thali with&#160; your choice of 6 salads, bread, a drink, tea or coffee, and a sweet. <\/p>\n<p>The French proprietor makes her own hibiscus and mint syrups, so we had a hibiscus soda to start:<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSC_5239 by laurenlavoie, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/lavoie\/4039763380\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC_5239\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2573\/4039763380_ae824ed82d.jpg\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For our thali, we&#160; chose the tomato salad, ratatouille, shredded beets + garlic, shredded carrot salad, cucumbers and curd, and pomegranate seeds.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSC_5241 by laurenlavoie, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/lavoie\/4039764498\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC_5241\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2447\/4039764498_a3823b86d0.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To conclude, we had a very nice mint tea served with a mini cashew brittle. Tasty, light, and total cost of 150 Rs (about $3).
