So far my favorite one of the bunch is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Herbal-Kitchen-Cooking-Fragrance-Flavor\/dp\/0060599766\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1\/105-4029409-2566838?ie=UTF8&#038;s=books&#038;qid=1184553268&#038;sr=8-1\">The Herbal Kitchen<\/a>. It&#8217;s written by Jerry Traunfeld (executive chef of <a href=\"http:\/\/kennyw.com\/food\/149\">The Herbfarm<\/a>), and it is his &#8220;what I cook at home&#8221; cookbook.<\/p>\n<p>I really like the abundance of of pictures in this book. Personally I get extra inspiration out of a preview on the final product.  And, as promised, the recipe execution is more accessible then <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Herbfarm-Cookbook-Jerry-Traunfeld\/dp\/0684839768\">The Herbfarm Cookbook<\/a>.  We made 3 dishes for guests last night (popcorn chickpeas, cherry tomato, melon, and mint salad, and penne with walnut pesto and eggplant).  All of them required minimal prep and tasted fantastic. There&#8217;s also a fun beverages section (we had Rosemary gin and tonics).
